	CROSS COUNTRY PLAYER SARABJIT SINGH  Principal Dr. Gurdip Sharma Vice principal Prof. Malkiet Singh Teacher In-Charge Prof. Harvinder Kaur & Prof.K.K. Handa with the winner of  Gold Medal in Cross Country Inter college competition.
	LONG JUMP & RELAY RACE PLAYER JASVIR KAUR & RAMANDEEP   Principal Dr. Gurdip Sharma Vice Principal Malkiet Singh Teacher In-Charge Prof. Harvinder Kaur along with the Winner of  Silver and Bronze Medal in Long Jump and 400m. Hurdles in Senior State Competition.  Ramandeep Won Bronze Medal in Relay Race Competition.
	RELAY RACE TEAM  Principal Dr. Gurdip Sharma,  Vice Principal Prof. Malkiet Singh,  Teacher In-charge Prof. Harvinder Kaur & Prof.K.K.Handa with the winners of Silver and Bronze Medal Relay Race Team.
	WEIGHT LIFTIING TEAM   Principal Dr. Gurdip Sharma, Vice principal Prof. Malkiet Singh,  Teacher in-Charge Prof. Harvinder Kaur along with 2 Gold Medal, 2 Silver Medal & 1 Bronze Medal winners of Weight Lifting in Inter College Competition.
	Principal Dr. Gurdip Sharma Vice Principal Prof. Malkiet Singh Teacher In-Charge Prof. Harvinder Kaur with Best Physique Player Sandeep Singh :  He Has  1.    Won Gold Medal in Best Physique  Inter College Competition 2.    Won Gold Medal in Senior State Competition. 3.    Participated in All India Inter University Competition. Won Silver Medal in National Competition.

                          ACHIEVEMENTS IN THE FIELD OF CULTURAL/CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES 

                        The Department of co-curricular/cultural activities under the patronage of of our worthy Principal Dr.Gurdip Kumar Sharma had been very active in enriching the cultural life of the college during session 2000-2001.

                         Dr. Gurdip K.Sharma who was selected as permanent new Principal by the duly constituted selection Committee took intiative and department decided to hold Zonal Youth Festival at Hariana from 25^th Nov. 2000 to 27^th Nov. 2000. Prof. R.M.Ghay and Dr. Harcharan Singh worked very hard to make the Youth Festival a grand success with the help of teaching, non-teaching staff. Teams from Hoshiarpur , Mahilpur, Garhshankar, Mangowal, Rattewal, Pojewal, participated in the Youth Festival.Sh.Balbir Singh Miani, minister of state for Higher Education inaugurated the morning session on 25^th Nov. 2000.Sh.Kamal Chaudhary Ex-M.P. was the chief guest. S.Parkash Singh Badal Chief Minister Punjab was to be the chief guest on 26^th Nov.2000. He couldn’t come due to emergent circumstances and his message was read out by the Deputy Commissioner Sh.I.S.Sidhu and on C.M.’s behalf he liberally donated Rs.500000/- from discretionary fund. Sh. Amrit Sagar Mittal (M.D. Sonalika) was the guest of honour. Chief guest of the morning session was Dr. Shiv Kumar Ex-M.L.A. & President Shree Sanatan Dharam Pratinidhi Sabha (Panjab). Sh.R.P.Bali Ex-M.L.A. & Vice President Sh.S.D.P.S. was the chief guest for 27^th Nov. 2000 morning session.Master Mohan Lal Ji Cabinet Minister for Higher Education was chief guest on 27^th Nov. 2000 evening session.On the concluding day of the function, Master Mohan Lal Ji distributed prizes to the various winner teams and students. Our college bagged prizes in the following items:-
